Pricing
Priced against one resubmission, not against a software budget.
The comparison that matters is not other software. It is what a second trip through the intake queue costs you in carrying, schedule and redrawing. Every tier below is billed through Quoto Build.

The comparison that matters
What the alternative costs.
A resubmission does not just add the time it takes to fix the drawing. It adds the wait to rejoin the queue, and everything that was scheduled against the original date has to move with it.
- The fix An afternoon of drafting, usually less
- The queue Weeks, behind everything filed while you were out
- The schedule Trades rebooked, start date moved, sequence broken
- The carrying Land, financing and overhead paid against no progress
- The point Only the first line was ever the actual problem
Questions
The ones people ask before paying.
Anything not answered here, email contactus@permitx.io.
What counts as one drawing set?
One report run against one uploaded set. A set can contain many sheets in a single PDF, and that still counts as one. Re running the same project after a revision counts again, because it is a fresh read.
Where do I actually use this?
Inside Quoto Build. PermitX is delivered through the Quotograph platform rather than as a separate app, so there is one login and one project record rather than a second tool to keep in sync.
What does retention mean?
How long your uploaded sets and generated reports stay available in the workspace. Thirty days on Starter, ninety on Growth, twelve months on Enterprise. Export the report as a PDF and that copy is yours regardless.
Is the free plan a trial?
No, it is a standing plan. You get the PermitX assistant with a daily message limit, so you can ask code and bylaw questions. Generating a report from an uploaded drawing set starts at Starter.
My municipality is not fully covered. Should I still pay?
That depends on your work. The Ontario Building Code report runs anywhere in Ontario today and is the majority of what a comment letter contains. If your zoning bylaw matters more than the code does for your scope, tell us the municipality first and we will be straight with you about whether it is worth it yet.
Do you work with municipalities directly?
Yes. Loading a municipality’s zoning bylaw in full is work we do with the department, and it is a different conversation from a subscription. Email us and we will scope it.
Start on the free plan and see what it says.
Ask the assistant about a clause you are unsure of. When you want a full report from a drawing set, move up a tier.
